Who writes these
Written by the engineers who provision and tune the bare metal behind Quantum Host, build the in-house panel, and answer the support tickets. We write them because the questions turn up in support tickets often enough that a proper answer is more useful than replying individually.
These are the rules we hold them to:
- No product claims. The service pages sell; these explain. Nothing here depends on Quantum Host being your host, and none of it goes stale when our pricing or hardware changes.
- Show the arithmetic. Every number is either a published upstream default or a calculation you can redo yourself. Where the honest answer is “it depends”, we say what it depends on instead of printing a table.
- No unmeasured self-reporting. We don't quote our own uptime, latency or scale figures, because we don't yet measure them to a standard worth publishing. When we do, they'll appear with the method attached.
- Dated, and revised in place. Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last substantively revised — not a date bumped to look fresh.
